"Paredão" is a photographic project consisting black and white photographs, which were captured in the Paredão of Cascais, between January and September 2015.

The Paredão of Cascais extends for about 3.5km linking the village of Cascais to S. João do Estoril, It is one of the favorite leisure places of the region's inhabitants.

Black and white was adopted by removing some potential distracting factors, bringing some timelessness and classic look to the images. The fact that it was performed in analog form also contributes to this effect.

The project was photographed using a 35mm Kodak Tri-X 400, pushed to 800 in order to permit a higher speed and a higher contrast and grain.
